Job Title: WordPress Web Developer

Hours: 40 hours a week (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Job Type: Full-time, Remote

Job Summary

Are you a skilled WordPress developer with a passion for creating functional and visually appealing websites? As our WordPress Web Developer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining websites that meet our clients' needs and contribute to their online success. You'll work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure that websites are both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.

Required Skills 

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a focus on WordPress development.

• WordPress Expertise: Experience customising WordPress themes and plugins to create tailored websites.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers, marketers, and clients.

• Project Management: Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills (Desirable but not mandatory):

• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).

• Familiarity with other content management systems (CMS).

• Knowledge of CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation).

Academic Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

    I.  Design, develop, and implement WordPress websites based on client requirements.

   II.  Customise WordPress themes and plugins to create unique website designs.

  III.  Optimise websites for speed, performance, and SEO.

  IV.  Ensure website compatibility across different browsers and devices.

   V.  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality.

  VI.  Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and effective websites.

 VII.  Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices.
